Mary Alice Cheadle, 83 of North East, MD, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at home.
A lifelong resident of North East, she was born on February 24, 1926, the daughter of the late David and the late Blanche Mahoney.
She worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground during World War II, and also had previously worked at the North East Acme. She was a member of Union Methodist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband: John L. Cheadle; her daughter: Ann Whitt; and granddaughters, Stephanie and Allison Whitt, all of North East, MD.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Allen Cheadle in 1966.
