Marvlen William Mangold, 91, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died Saturday morning, January 6, 2007, at his home in Three Oaks.Mr. Mangold was born March 9, 1915 in Three Oaks to Joseph and Dora (Lake) Mangold and he lived his entire life in Three Oaks. On May 7, 1938, he married Mary McDonald in Three Oaks. She preceded him in death on March 17, 1997. Mr. Mangold was employed as an engineer by Clark Equipment Company in Buchanan from 1942 until 1973.

He loved his community and had volunteered on the Three Oaks Fire Department and served on the Three Oaks Village Council. Mr. Mangold had also been a member of the Three Oaks Police Department.Survivors include his daughter, Ruth Ann Cline of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) Irvin of Bowling Green, KY; Terry (Ronald) Altman of Three Oaks and Timothy Cline of Three Oaks; great grandchildren, Cassy, Nikki, Alexandria and Caitlyn and his sister, Carrie Tribbet of Niles, Michigan. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Lemuel, Ernie, Carl and George, and by his sisters, Lois, Louise, Mary and Lillian.
