Details: MARVIN P. LAWSON, SR. (Philip), 83 years old, left this world to be with the Lord on Aug. 24, 2015, after a short, intense illness; he was a patient at the VA Hospital in Baltimore at the time of his passing. Philip served honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was originally born in Raven, VA in 1932, but spent most of his life in MD. Philip is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Nadine Lawson; one daughter, one son and two younger sisters. Philip’s family was his life’s greatest joy; he also left behind 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
