Marvin Lyvon Williams, 47, of Bristol, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.
Marvin was born Nov. 6, 1965, in Elkhart to Tell Jr. and Shirley (Lands) Williams. He was a 1984 graduate of Concord High School, where he participated in wrestling, cross country and track. Marvin also raced quads nationally at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch racetrack in Tennessee and won many awards.
Marvin formerly worked for Monoco for 10 years. He enjoyed sports, NASCAR and fishing.
Surviving are sons Mitchell and Mark Williams; father Tell Williams Jr.; sister Phyllis (Kevin) Heckaman; and his brother, Tell Williams III. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Gerald and Maxine Williams, Claude and Jean Williams, Fred and Lynn Lands, Rubin Jr. and Patricia Lands and Eddie and Sharon Lands; seven nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Williams, and grandparents Tell Williams Sr., Bertia Lands and Rubin Lands Sr.
