Marvin LeRoy Workman, 87 of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away Wednesday January 27th at the V.A.M.C. Living Center. 
He was born to Lester and Eula Workman in Grand Junction, attended Grand Valley Schools and graduated from Palisade High School. After attending College he was called into duty to serve our country in the Korean War. Upon returning to the Grand Valley LeRoy and his first wife Louise started a family. Children of this union include Loren, Steve(Jill), Dave(Tracie), Pam, and Dan.
LeRoy provided for his family by owning/operating Mesa Barber Shop for 62 years. In addition to this, he was a salesman, railroader, and ultimate horse trader to those who dealt with LeRoy. He also had a strong passion for ranching, farming, and gardening.
After separating from Louise, he married Elizabeth May Dell Kendall. The family grew with the addition of Glen(Ems), Ray (Eileen), Mike, and Bernie(Andrea) Kendall.
LeRoy leaves behind numerous grand children, great grand children, nieces, and nephews. 
Leroy’s love for animals was evident with his beloved cat Trixie following him on his journey shortly after his passing.
LeRoy enjoyed passing on his passion for hunting, fishing, being outdoors, challenging anyone to defeat him in a game of checkers, and especially being around family.
LeRoy is preceded in death by both parents, sister Betty, and both wives.
