Those left to honor Marvin’s memory are his wife, Elizabeth Gragg of Newton; son, William “Winkel” Gragg of Oskaloosa, Iowa; daughter, Kim Runnells of Oskaloosa; his fifteen grandchildren and great-grandchild; mother, Darlene Martin of Newton; foster children, Dawn Bragg of Newton and Joseph Richardson of Brooklyn, Iowa; three brothers, Ed (Lois) Gilkison of Colfax, Iowa; Max (Joyce) Gragg of What Cheer, Iowa, and Mick (Donna) Gragg of What Cheer; sister, Pamela (Norman) Willey of Rock Springs, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed A. Gragg; step father, Leslie Martin; Son, Marvin L. Gragg in 2005; brother, Michael Gragg; and sister, Peggy Walker.

Marvin was a truck driver for many years, driving for Manatt’s Inc. in Newton for 13 years, and RJC Trucking in Des Moines.

Marvin was a member of the Hilltop Chapel in What Cheer. He enjoyed being with his family, especially the grandchildren. Marvin also enjoyed working on cars, figure 8 car racing, fishing and golfing.
