Marvin Iceman, age 75, “Jiimaaninini” which means “Boat Man” of the Kingfisher Clan and Ponemah, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world from the Jourdain Perpich Extended Care Center in Red Lake, MN on Monday, September 25, 2017.  He was born in Red Lake, MN on December 1, 1941 to Mary Black and Joseph Iceman.

Marvin was a very outgoing man all of his life.  In his younger years, he worked as a logger and a fisherman but he most enjoyed working on and fixing cars.  Marvin liked going to the casino and visiting with his family and friends.  Watching the Minnesota Vikings and wrestling on TV was one of his favorite things to do.  He was always very comical and had a great sense of humor that will definitely be missed.

Marvin is greeted to the spirit world by his parents Mary Black and Joseph Iceman, brothers; David and Richard Castenada, sister; Cecelia Iceman, aunt; Susan Johnson, other relatives and friends.

He leaves behind his brothers; Donald Iceman and Darrell Geshick, special brothers; Kenny, Roland, Darrell and Ervin Iceman, special sisters; Carol Martin, Priscilla and Phyllis Iceman, special nephews; Robert and Phillip Fineday, Darren Iceman and David “Buddy” Rosebear, Jr., special nieces; Dell Marie Johnson, Dawn and Denise Rosebear, Annie and Freida Fineday, Carol Spears, Debbie Cloud and Shena Martin, nieces, nephews and friends.
