Marvin F. Jandro, age 86, of Gladstone, passed away at the Iron Mountain V.A. Hospital on Friday evening November 3, 2017.

Marvin was born September 21, 1931, in Iron Mountain, the son of Frank and Ida (Enstrom) Jandro. He was raised in Gladstone and was a 1950 graduate of Gladstone High School. In January of 1951, Marvin enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served until his honorable discharge in January of 1955. On April 7, 1956, Marvin was united in marriage to the former Rosella Allard at All Saints Church, and together the couple made their home and raised their family in Gladstone. Marvin was employed at Mead Paper for 38 years, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed playing cards, especially smear league, and feeding the wildlife in his back yard. In his younger years, Marvin enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed by the many who loved him.

Sister: Jane (Wayne) Cassell
Grandchildren: Jessica (Jim), Sara, Peter (Amanda), Eric, Cory (Rebecca),
Christopher and James Great Grandchildren: Alex, Landen, Carson, Ethan and Josie Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ida.
