Mr. Swartz had worked as a Machine Operator for Chevrolet also known as New Venture Gear retiring in the early 1980’s.
Survivors include, four daughters, Pattiann Crawford (husband-Ora), Hartford City, Tina Lynn Filby (husband-Von), Winchester, Sheri Denise Perrault (husband-Rick), and Marsha Gale Franklin (husband-Ron), both of Albany; three sons, Marvin Dale Swartz Jr., Winchester, Johnny Swartz, Muncie and Chris Swartz (wife-Laura), San Antonio, Texas; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Randy Swartz (wife-Beverly) and Donnie Swartz (wife-Sharon), both of Muncie; cousin, Jerry Bunch, Muncie; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sharon Kay Hughes; one brother, Norman Swartz.
