Marvin B. Herbert, 75, Greensburg, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Born, July 19, 1941 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Bernard J. and Bertha B. (Young) Herbert. Marvin graduated from Greensburg High School in 1961. He farmed and worked for 18 years at BCA. After he left BCA he became a full time farmer. He had also served in the National Guard. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He was married to Nancy Koester on January 17, 1970 and she survives. He is also survived by one son, Steve Herbert and his fiancé, Michelle Gindling; four grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden, Halle, and Hudson Herbert. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Merle & Delmar Herbert; two sisters, Evelyn Roszell and Mary Ann Herbert.
