On April 2, 2020, Martinus Johannes Hansen died peacefully at his home. He was 84.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Esther; one son, Peter A.M. Hansen; two step daughters, Jeannette M. Pinson, Cynthia P. Knarvik; one stepson, Wil K. Sawyer; two grandsons, Peter and Joshua; one granddaughter, Sarah, and 4 great grandchildren.
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses he had the wonderful hope of a resurrection to life on a paradise earth as Jesus promised.
He will be fondly remembered by many for his ability to make people laugh with his funny jokes. He was a kind and gentle man and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be truly missed.
