Martin Vincent Ernat, 81, of rural Peru, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Ernat was born April 18, 1940 in rural Peru to Martin and Frances (Guynn) Ernat. He married Linda Claudnic on December 17, 1977 at the Hennepin Church.
Martin was a lifelong farmer and loved old tractors. Survivors include his wife, Linda; two children, Martin Peter Ernat and Brian Joseph Ernat, both of Peru; a step-son, Michael Taylor of St. Joseph, MO and two grandsons, Joshua Doyle and Michael Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Ernat; his mother and step-father, Frances and Chester Ernat and his sister, Mary Jean Smollinger.
