Martin J. Pavolko, Jr., 71, of Salisbury Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Unit, Allentown. He was the loving husband of Ellen (Reichard) Pavolko, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, Martin was a son of the late Martin J. and Elizabeth (Gavuva) Pavolko, Sr. He served in the US Army from 1960 to 1966, and later became a machinist for Mack Trucks in Allentown until his retirement in 2002. He was also affiliated with Goosey Gander #7 on Emmaus Ave. Martin enjoyed bowling, fishing, trips to Atlantic City with his family, and watching the Phillies and the Eagles. Survivors: wife Ellen; daughter Heidi Traub and her husband Mark of Salisbury Township; sons Matthew Pavolko and his wife JoAnne of Salisbury Township, Martin Pavolko and his wife Jennifer of Greensboro, NC; sister Mary Pardo; brothers Joseph and Michael Pavolko; grandchildren Martin, Paityn and Alaina Pavolko; several nieces and nephews. Martin was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Dieter.
