Lancaster Ave., Frazer PA 19355 and Tuesday Morning at St. Patrick’s Church 104 Channing Ave., Malvern, PA 19355 for his Visitation 10:00-11:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Marty was the son of Daniel Murray and Catherine (“Kitty”) Hoban. He attended St. Rose of Lima and was a proud graduate of St. Thomas More High School (Class of 1961) and St.Charles Borromeo Seminary (Class of 1973). He taught for several years at Waldron Mercy Academy before beginning a career at Monsey Products (later the Henry Company) that lasted 40 years until his retirement in 2013. An avid golfer he was also a member of Whitford County Club in Exton for more than three decades. His competitive spirit was evident through his love of all things Philadelphia sports. E-A- G-L-E-S Eagles!He will be remembered for his undying devotion to his family, friends, faith and overall for being the one and only “Marty Murr” a.k.a. “The Murr”, a.k.a. “Duke”, a.k.a. “the Mayor”.He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Msgr. Daniel Murray, his sister Regina Levy and brother-in-law Walter Levy. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Carolyn (nee Urie), his children Kara, Eireann (Brad) and Daniel; his grandchildren Michael, Caitlin and Kaia; his sister Sr. Maureen Murray RSM and brother Rev. Kevin Murray.
