Mr. Martin Donald “Marty” Griffin, #15, passed away on the evening of Monday, July 22, 2019 in Indianapolis. He was 59. Marty was born May 16, 1960 in Indianapolis, to Donald L. and Claudia K. (Poland) Griffin.
Marty attended Greenwood High School and was member of the graduating Class of 1978. A lover of cars, he was the owner/operator of A & M Customs, a collision repair center in Indianapolis. He thoroughly enjoyed racing and was a race car enthusiast especially Legend Cars and Thunder Roadsters. He loved the outdoors and going to “the woods” as well as boating, camping, fishing and going on motorcycle rides. Marty had a huge heart for people and enjoyed helping others. He dearly loved his family and cherished the moments he spent with them…especially Sunday dinners!
Marty is survived by his parents, Don and Claudia Griffin, his children, Nick, Carly and Dustin Griffin; his sisters, Brenda (Bryan) Woods and Donna (Ron) Welsh; his nieces and nephews, Brandi (Brad) Phoenix, Brent (Jami) Woods, Delaney Welsh and Grey Welsh as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
