Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Brown; sons, Randy Brown, Aubrey Brown, and Gary Brown; brothers, James Legg and George Legg; and sisters, Fancies Meters, Sybil Whisenhunt, Dorothy Rainey, and Barbara Jean Haynes. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Joan (Horace) Phillips; grandchildren, Melissa Allen, Lacey Robinson, Marshall Brown, Amanda Cook, Jennifer Brown, Brian Phillips, and Tiffany Bartram; 13 great grandchildren; and a sister, Paulline (R.E.) Nelson.
