Martha Yeatts Daniel, 82, of 5904 Dry Fork Rd, Dry Fork, VA died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC. Born March 6, 1927 in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Stowe Yeatts and the late Stanley Hubbard Yeatts. She was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 48 years, was a member of the choir and the women’s ministries. She formerly was employed by Health-Tex. She was married to Willard Daniel who preceded her in death. Mrs. Daniel is survived by two sons, Keith Daniel and Steve Daniel and wife, Jan, all of Danville; one sister, Mabel Chandler of Semora, NC and three grandchildren, Stephen W. Daniel, II and wife, Laura, Kyle D. Daniel and Caroline N. Daniel. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Stanley Daniel, a sister, Bessie Y. Boswell, two brothers, Calvin S. Yeatts and Edward T. Yeatts and one grandson, Patrick Daniel.
