Martha Whittemore Sharit, age 77, of Springville, AL passed away on July 20, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Springville. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Hobert Whittemore and E.V. Sharit; parents Catherine and Louie Simmons; sister, Ann Massey. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Lowry (Ray), and Cyndi Turner (Butch); son, Benny Whittemore (Jan); sisters, Betty Nolan, and Dot Johnson; grandchildren, Amy Boe, Shea Mashburn, Ben Whittemore, Candice Howard, and Adam Butts; great grandchildren, Carlee Alfano, Bethany Boe, Alanna Howard, Daniel Boe, Drake Howard, and Jaysa Butts.
