Peggy Louvenia “Martha” Merritt Harris, 71, of Youngsville, died Sunday morning, December 9, 2007 at Franklin Regional Hospital. She was born in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Molly Kimbrell Merritt and Charles Brown Merritt and was a dedicated member of South Main Street Baptist Chapel. Mrs. Harris attended school and was raised in the Union-Mecklenburg County area and was a devoted housewife and mother.
