Martha McClay passed away peacefully in Hospice care on February 29, 2020, at the age of 79. Martha was born in Waltham, MA. to George and Elsie (Beaton) Elms. She is the youngest of two and survived by her older brother Jack and wife Marion of Hanson, MA. Martha is survived by her loving husband Gordon of Deerfield Beach, FL, her daughter Melissa McClay of Boca Raton Fl, her son Allan and his wife Denise of Boca Raton FL and son Gordie and his wife Brenda of Plymouth, MA. She was a loving grandmother to Alex and James South, Dylan, and Nikki McClay and to Samantha, Cameron, Maxwell, Melanie, Zachary, and Jackson McClay. She was the loving great grandmother to Avery South, Declan McClay, and Jonathan French.Martha attended Watertown High School and Boston University. She worked as a receptionist at Franklin Income Tax Consultants and owned her own business, Vet Med and Pet Supplies in Franklin, MA. She spent many hours volunteering in community causes. All of us will miss her sharp wit and her sense of loyalty. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
