Martha “Jane” (Cunningham) Wahl, 85, of Metamora, IL passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on December 22, 1933 in Rogersville, Alabama to Lee and Litha (Casteel) Cunningham.
Also surviving are their three children T.L. Wahl of Boyne City, Michigan, Teresa (Steve) Parks of Metamora, and Carolyn (Dominic) Irrera of Peoria; and their four grandchildren Nathan Parks of Metamora, Lauren (Anthony) Gray of Eureka, and Jordan Gunn and Chloe Gunn both of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Ceibert, Marvis, and Bobby Cunningham.
Jane moved to Tennessee in 1943 where she attended school and graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1952. In 1952 she came to Peoria and worked for two years at Roszell’s Sealtest. She attended Brown’s Business College in Peoria. In 1969 she began working at Sears from which she retired in 1992.
