Martha J. O’Bryant, 97, of Anderson, passed away on January 16, 2014 at the Edgewater Woods Nursing Home Anderson. She was born on April 15, 1916 in Anderson, where she resided most of her life. Martha graduated from Anderson High School in 1933 . She retired from Anderson Banking Company after 30 years.
She was a member of the Eagles, and American Legion Auxiliary #408 in Chesterfield. Martha is survived by her grandsons, Jimmy O’Bryant, and Jerry fiancée Kelli Whitehead O’Bryant; great-grandchildren, Michael Jr., Heather, Joe, Shawn, Tiffany, Kyle, Patia; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Shelton, father, Glen Shelton, son, Darell O’Bryant, daughter-in-law, Judy O’Bryant, grandson, Michael O’Bryant Sr., and her ex-husband, Kenneth O’Bryant.
