Martha J. (Foulke) Moore, our beloved mother and grandmother, 83, died on December 4, 2015 in Liberty Village Manor Court in Peru from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease.
Mrs. Moore was born in Cuba, IL on July 30, 1932. She graduated high school in Wyanet. She worked at Westclox in Peru in the 1950’s. She studied hard and became a LPN. She worked in Kewanee Hospital, Galesburg Research, and nursing homes in Kewanee, Princeton and Sandwich.
Mrs. Moore is survived by 3 children Chris Vasquez of La Salle, Lori Anderson of LaSalle, and Alicia DeReu of Kewanee; five grandchildren Joshua Murphy, Rafe Murphy, Clayton Anderson, Luke DeReu and Matthew DeReu; three great-grandchildren Jaxon, Drax and Lynnex DeReu; her twin brother Daniel Foulke of Geneseo; three other brothers Jack Foulke of Katy, TX, John David Foulke Ogden, UT; Gilbert Foulke of Sun City, AZ; and one sister Marilyn (Foulke) Fisher of Norwalk, IA.
She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Moore and her parents Adna (Ellis) Foulke of Wyanet and Kenneth Foulke of Canton.
