Martha Minix Smith, age 81, of Newnan passed away on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Newnan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Coweta County to the late John & Minnie Minix. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Smith.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children; Harold Smith of Morrow, GA., Donnie (Martha) Smith of Sharpsburg, Bernice (Bob) Yeager of Sharpsburg and Sandi (Wesley) Thompson of Newnan.
Also surviving are grandchildren; Bryon (Kim) Smith of Newnan, Marie (Mike) Lamb of California, Donna Mathis of Newnan, Bethany (Jeff) McGuffey of Sharpsburg, Ty Thompson of Newnan and Zack Thompson of Newnan. Great Grandchildren; Daniel Smith, Nicklaus Smith, Felecity Lamb, Evan Lamb, Jordan Smith, Ian Mathis, Scott Yeager, & and Cody McGuffey and the late Aubrey Mattingly. She also is survived by her sister Sylvia Thomas of Sharpsburg.
