Marta Haydee Cruz-Deodanes, age 42, passed away Friday at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Born in El Salvador, she was the daughter of Octaviano Cruz and Emeteria Deondanes De Cruz. She was preceded in death by a brother, Pedro Cruz and a niece, Evelyn Esther Cruz.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Jonathan Arias, Fernando Cruz-Deodanes and Esther Resendiz Cruz; her fiancée, Jorge Resendiz; and her siblings, Jesus A. Cruz, Oscar A. Cruz and Maria L. Cruz.
