Marsha Gordon Vincent, age 64, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at her home in Manassas, VA. She was born on July 3, 1953 in Washington, D.C. to the late William S. Gordon and Sue Burruss Gordon. Marsha was a lifelong resident of Manassas. She became a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in 1972 and was baptized in 1975. It was here that she taught in the Mission Friends children’s ministry for 17 years. Marsha’s career as a paralegal began after graduating from Osbourn High School in 1971 and continued until her retirement in 2017 due to her illness of ALS. Her love of family was her greatest joy, especially her three grandchildren. Predeceased by her father, William S. Gordon; one son: Michael Louis Vincent, Jr. and one brother: Kenneth Wayne Gordon. Survivors include her mother: Sue Burruss Gordon of Manassas, VA; her husband of 46 years, Michael Louis Vincent of Manassas, VA; one daughter: Melissa Vincent Hash and Andy Hash of Manassas, VA; one brother: Denny Gordon and wife Maria of Manassas, VA; three sisters: Sharon Rice and husband Noble of West Virginia, Jan Hopkins and husband Grady of Florida, and Gail Huber and husband Clay of Virginia; three grandchildren: Mason Wayne Hash (15), Abigail Rose Hash (13) and Aubree Hope Mannion (3). Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
