Maron V. Bagley, 87, of Buford, GA passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Helen Bagley, parents Montie and Irene Bailey Bagley, and sister Helen Bagley Morrison.

Mr. Bagley is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sarah Helen Hogan Bagley of Buford, GA; daughters, Teresa Bagley Watts and Lisa Bagley Hunter (Neal); grandchildren, Weston (Jenny) Brand, Chase Hunter, Rachel Watts, and Cole Hunter; great-granddaughters, Madison Brand, Karli Brand, and Paetyn Brand; and nephew, Steve (Trish) Morrison of Marietta. Three great-nieces, one great-nephew, and numerous cousins also survive.

Mr. Bagley was born February 14, 1934, in Sugar Hill, GA, and graduated from Sugar Hill School in 1951.

His middle name “Valentine” was a family name and was already chosen before he was born 2 months premature on Valentine’s Day. He served two years in the Army and four years in the Air Force Reserves. Mr. Bagley was employed by Allis-Chalmers Tractor Corp. for 34 years, Deutz-Allis for three years, and retired from Kubota Tractor Company after 12 years. Maron was an awesome District Sales Manager in his career, with the rewards of getting to travel the world. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, gardening, and loved traveling and camping with his family and friends. Mr. Bagley was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Buford, GA.

He was a loving husband and father and an amazing “Gran” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he adored. Maron was always the life of the party and always had a smile on his face. He never met a stranger and loved to tell jokes. Maron was never happier than when he was cooking or grilling for family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
