Andrew Joseph Johnson, 20, of Port St. Lucie passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

A native Floridian, Andrew was born and raised in Port St. Lucie. It was here that Andrew learned to love fishing, swimming, the beach, and anything outdoors. He loved both playing and watching basketball (Go Kentucky!), music, and working with his hands. He could fix or build anything and truly enjoyed the satisfaction of the end result.

Andrew will be remembered for his warm heart, wacky sense of humor, and larger-than-life personality. He would be the first in line to help anyone whether by lending a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. Without saying a word, he could make you laugh, and his goofy smile charmed everyone he met.

The devilish twinkle in his bright green eyes reflected his love of life, and how important it is to enjoy each and every day to the fullest. This zest of life made Andrew enjoy travel, meeting new people, and he would be happy to go anywhere, anytime.

Andrew’s family meant the world to him and understood the importance of staying close, no matter how far apart. Andrew was the loving son of Kerri and Barry Johnson; beloved brother of Robby Johnson (Jordan) and Ryan Johnson; adored grandson of Richard and the late Kathleen Costello, and the late Mary Lou and the late Robert Johnson; dear nephew of Lori Bozenbury, Kim Otto (John), Kevin Johnson (Peggy), and the late Brenda Wells; and devoted uncle to Ashton Johnson. He is also survived by many more cousins, relatives, and friends.

Andrew was lost too soon, and those who knew him, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
