Marlo E. Brannon (Smith), 49, of 38 N. Pearl St., Galesburg, died at 10:25 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009 at home.
Marlo was born on February 18, 1960 in Galesburg, the son of Arthur Brannon and Maggie Semington. He was raised by his mother and step father Maggie and Lloyd Smith. Surviving Marlo are his sons, Sean Smith of Florida, Caleb, Jacob, and Kean Smith all of Galesburg, and Jacob Durst of Galesburg; his daughters, Sonya of Wisconsin and Tara Smith of Galesburg. A
lso surviving are a brother Stanley (Princy) Smith of Galesburg; and his sisters, Bessie Smith of Germantown, IL, Addie Wilson of Kansas City, MO, and Carmalia of Ohio; a grandson, Jason Smith and several nieces and nephews. The love of his life Christine Kukuk of Galesburg, also survives. He was preceded in death by his mom, dad, step dad, 4 step brothers including Larry Smith, and 2 step sisters including Rhoda Semington.
