Died Saturday evening June 30, 2018. Marlene was born December 20, 1942 in Plainwell, Michigan a daughter of Leonard and Dora (Anson) Norman. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and owned and operated Norman Camera for many years.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anthony E. Whitman on March 15, 1996; and a sister, Reta Sackett. She is survived by 2 daughters, Kelly (Mike) Felton and Shannon (Tim Leto) Whitman all of Portage; 3 grandchildren, Luke Leto, Khloe Felton, and Levi Leto; 3 brothers, Melvin Norman of Battle Creek, Merton (Phyllis) Norman of Paw Paw, and Dennis Norman of Portage; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
