Freeport – Marlene K. (Moore) Shippy of Freeport passed away at home on Wednesday, November 25th with her family by her side. She was born on July 14, 1946, in Freeport to Hester H. “Ham” and Margaret R. (Turner) Moore. She graduated from Dakota High School in 1964 and she worked for Micro Switch Honeywell for 40+ years. She enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Steven Kunkle of Freeport; her mother, Margaret Sass of Freeport; as well as Aunts, Uncles, and cousins Moore and Turner’s side of the family.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant brother, Larry Allen Moore.
