Marland B. Hosford, 78, of Brighton, passed away November 6, 2012 in Denver. He was born in Great Bend, KS on November 3, 1934 to Kenneth and Margaret (Brougher) Hosford. He attended school in California and later married Judy Beierle on June 13, 1953 in Brighton.
Marland has lived in Brighton since 1955 and worked for Shell Chemical as an operator for over 20 years. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1955. He loved restoring old cars and working with his hands. Teasing his grandchildren was one of his favorite ways to pass time; he loved being a grandparent. He was a loving father and grandfather and he will be missed.
Marland is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Dale) Bellows of Brighton and son, Robert (Tina) Hosford of Brighton; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
