Mark OlsonAge 62 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Memorial Healthcare.A memorial service will be held 1pm Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Nelson-House Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12pm until the time of service.Mark was born April 18, 1958 in Highland Park , the son of Paul Edward and Norma (Denington) Olson.He graduated from Durand High School.Mark enjoyed golfing, camping, and painting. There will always be a special place in his heart for his beloved dog Rocky who never left his side. Most of all Mark loved to spend time with his kids and grandchildren who were his world.Mark worked as a roofing contractor for many years.Mark is survived by his children, Paul Olson, Ryan Olson (Andrea Leonard), Nichole Rhodes (Kyle Carey), Marquee Olson, and Travis (Brooklyn) Rhodes; grandchildren, Evan, Addilyn, Kinley, Gracelynn, Liam and another grandbaby on the way; parents Paul and Norma Olson; brothers Greg (Diana) Olson and Glenn (Jean); and beloved girlfriend of 30 years, Tammy Rhodes; along with many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his brother Dave Olson.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
