Mark Joseph Granata, 88, was a loving husband and dedicated family man, an active member of the West Haven community who was as equally passionate about his gardening as he was his politics. He never missed a UCONN Women’s Basketball game. Born in Tremensuoli, Italy he immigrated with his parents to the United States at the age of 3 and resided in West Haven, Connecticut for the whole of his life. He attended St. Lawrence grammar school and graduated West Haven High School in 1941.
