Mark Earl Gier, age 53, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 14, 2016, at his sister’s home under the loving care of Hospice of Lenawee and his sisters, Marcia Cryder and Karen Densel, brother in law Richard Densel, brother Gregg Gier and friend Mike Meinke. He was born September 12, 1962, in Toledo, OH, the son of Earl James & Virginia Louise (Evans) Gier. Mark was a graduate of Adrian High School. He was employed at Dave Knapp Ford and he was thankful for all the support from Dave Knapp and all his employees. Mark always referred to them as his extended family. He is survived by his siblings, Karen (Richard) Densel, Marcia Cryder and his brother, Gregg Gier, three nephews, Barry Cryder II, Jamie Cryder and Richard III (Alicia) Densel and one niece, Dawn (Anthony) Johnson, three aunts, Louise Phipps, Ramona Brownell and Charlotte Hamilton and nine great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law, Barry Cryder. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
