Mark Francis Rathz, 61, of Indianapolis passed away on December 31, 2019.
Mark was born to the late Ernest and Frances Rathz in Indianapolis , Indiana .
He worked as a machinist for Hurco Industries, Inc. for many years. He then worked for Melaun Industries, Inc. where he retired as president.
Mark will be remembered most for his love of animals, friends and family. He enjoyed bowling, learning about and using computers, spending time with his dogs and performing random acts of kindness. Mark will be remembered for being a kind, old soul and the world is certainly a little darker without him.
Left behind to miss his corny jokes and cherish his memory are his five siblings, Ernest Rathz Jr. of Indianapolis , In., Teresa Satterfield ( Gary ) of Indianapolis , In., Julie Crawford of Indianapolis , In., Lisa Montgomery of Indianapolis , In., Jeanne ( Sidney ) Blazek of Greenwood, In. and his numerous beloved nieces and nephews, both here and gone. He will also be missed by his many neighbors who him came to love and care for.
He is proceeded in death by his parents and by his Sister, Sharon Frermann.
