Lafayette – Mark Everett Stamper, 57, former Muncie resident, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. He was born May 29, 1956, in Muncie, the son of Everett and Betty Hole Stamper Taylor, attended Muncie schools, and graduated from Southside High School in 1974.
He worked at Minnetrista Orchard and the Muncie YMCA.
Mark was a bouncer, professional wrestler known as Golden Gorilla, and was a talented artist.
He was a member of the UMA Website.
He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Stamper and his step-father, Delbert Taylor.
