Mark Dale “Rughead” Nehring, 56 of Centralia, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born February 8, 1959 in Centralia, son of Kenneth Nehring and Dorothy (Czerwinski) Nehring. He married Cathy (Haney) on December 19, 1987 in Centralia and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 27 years, he is also survived by his father, Kenneth Nehring of DuBois, two children: Correy Sue Nehring and boyfriend Josh McDaniel of Centralia and Kenny Nehring and wife Tempest of Centralia; grand-daughter, Harley Nehring of Centralia; 4 nephews, Mike Nicholson and wife Suzzie of Centralia, Matt Markfort and wife Dani of Virginia, Travis Haney of Texas, Paul Campbell of Illinois; 5 nieces: Dani Arhartz and fiance Jim McCraken of Virginia, Rachel Kaufman and husband Mike of Ohio, Correna Campbell of Centralia, Cindi Awad of Missouri, and Missy Campbell of Illinois; 2 brother-in-laws, Bill Jeffers of Centralia and John Haney and wife Denise of Virginia; a sister-in-law, Billie Miller and husband Jesse of Centralia; 3 uncles: Paul Czerwinski and wife Janet of Centralia, Vick Czerwinksi and wife Linda of Centralia and George Spotanski, Jr. of Scheller.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister: Marilyn Jeffers, 2 uncles: John Czerwinski and Willie Storment, three aunts: Isabell Witges, Evelyn Spotanski, and Darlene Storment, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Kenneth and Cora Haney, a sister-in-law: Vickie Campbell, 6 brother-in-laws: Doug Campbell, Terry Campbell, Larry Campbell, Jim Campbell, R.D. Campbell, and Kenneth Haney. Mark started working at Rockwell in 1977 and he later retired in 2004. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He also, enjoyed raising animals and farm animals. He was an avid Harley rider for many years. He was the “Best” Dad to his children. Most of all he loved spending time with his father, wife, children, granddaughter, and his friends.
