Mark D. Van Atta, age 53, died on Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 27, 1962 in Kalamazoo, MI. Mark graduated from Portage Central High School, Glen Oaks Community College and served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald, and sister, Lynette.
Surviving are four children, Jenna Van Atta, Tarra (Van Atta) & Scott Ostrander, Chad & Krystina Van Atta and Nathan Van Atta; seven grandchildren, Alyvia, Ayden, Mia, Alexis, Christopher, Caysen and Chayse; mother, Donna Stratton; a brother, Scott Van Atta; a sister, Denise Shelton; and special friends, Jerri and Joyce.
