Marjorie (Timmons) Wisdom, 83, of Moberly, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO. She was born September 20, 1932 in Stoutsville, MO, the daughter of Bill and Erma Timmons. They preceded her in death.
Marjorie graduated from Clarence High School with the class of 1950. She married George Andy Wisdom at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, OK on July 28, 1951. At the time of her death they were married 64 years.
Marjorie was a homemaker, devoted mother, beloved grandmother and great- grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and many types of crafts. She was a member of the Logan Street Church of Christ and devoted many hours to sharing the gospel with others and showing kindness, generosity and compassion to others.
She is survived by her husband, sons; George Wayne Wisdom and his wife Sharon of Hannibal, MO, Nathan Wisdom and his wife Sherrie of Arnold, MO and Steve Wisdom and his wife Michelle of Forsyth, IL, granddaughters; Kathleen Tucker and husband Corey of Bloomsberg, PA, Natalie Wisdom of St. Louis, MO, Hallie Walters and husband Nate of Anthem, AZ, grandsons; Tanner Wisdom of Decatur, IL, Zachary Wisdom of Arnold, MO, great-grandson; Ethan Walters of Anthem, AZ, sisters, Erma Jeanne McCabe and husband Bill of New London, IA, Claireene Lehr of St. Joseph, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
