Marjorie Devin passed Saturday, January 30, 2010 at her residence at Southington Care Center in Southington, CT. She was 95 years old. She was born on April 20, 1914 in Portland Maine to Carl W. and Eva Frasier Ross. After a short period in Portland, Oregon, she spent most of her early years in Calais, Maine with her two older brothers, Norman and Hubert. She graduated from Calais Academy and then Boston Secretarial School in 1938. She moved to Boston where she met and married her late husband, Alfred Devin, to whom she was married for 58 years.
She is survived by her four sons and their families – John Devin, of Westbrook, CT; Thomas Devin and his wife Susan of Burbank, CA; Robert Devin and his wife Susan of Reno, NV and Peter Devin and his wife Katie of Southington, CT, as well as ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
