Marjorie Marte, 91, of Manchester and Giants Neck Beach died peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2016 at a local convalescent home. She was born on June 30, 1924 in Manchester daughter of the late Louis and Gladys (Rising) Marte. Marjorie attended local schools and was a 1942 graduate of Manchester High School. She then earned her degree from the former Westbrook Junior College. Marjorie was employed for many years as a Medical Secretary.
