Marjorie “Marge” Grayckowski, 84, of New Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday January 30, 2018 at her home. She was born on February 28, 1933 in West Point, IN, to the late George E. and Susie (Rinehart) West. On December 27, 1952, as Marjorie West, she married Frank E. Grayckowski, who survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Patti (Joe) Searing of New Carlisle; three grandchildren, Sarah Konewko of Volo, IL Frank (Lora) Eaton of Fairborn, OH and Michael Searing of New Carlisle; four great-grandchildren, Ryan and Alex Konewko and Brock and Arabella Eaton ; three step-grandchildren, Misty and Amber Schuler of AZ and Dustin Searing of LaPorte; seven step great-grandchildren; by two sisters, Patricia Gumm of New Carlisle and Norma West of South Bend; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Schuler. Mrs. Grayckowski was the Avon Lady for 30 years and was also employed at On Line Data in South Bend. She was a member of the New Carlisle United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post #297 Women’s Auxiliary and the State Line Club.
