Marjorie M. Kuboske, 89, of Hamilton Communities, formerly of State Road 2, in South Bend, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 27, 2006, at Hamilton Communities in New Carlisle, Indiana. Mrs. Kuboske was born on September 27, 1916, in South Bend to Gentiel and Irma DeWyze, who preceded her in death. On January 29, 1936, in Sacred Heart Church, South Bend, she married Paul C. Kuboske, her husband of 65 years, who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her daughter, Carol Myers, sister-in-law, Catherine Mason, brother-in-law, Henry Debaets and sons-in-law, John Haluda and Joseph Leyes.
Mrs. Kuboske is survived by her daughters, Lois (Robert) Sikorski and Jean Haluda both of South Bend; a son-in-law, Russell (Shirley) Myers of Mesa, Arizona, 11 grandchildren, Paul (Nancy) Leyes of South Bend, Anne (James) Holm of Granger, Leslie (James) Abbott of Elkhart, Jill (Clint) Schlarb of Bremen, Indiana, Lynn (Bill) Brown of Dayton Ohio, Matthew (Jennifer) Leyes of South Bend, Kelly Haluda of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mary (Tim) Haag of South Bend, Shelley (Larry) Regina of South Bend, Mark (Tonya) Myers of Dallas, Texas, Michael (Sheila) Haluda of South Bend; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marie DeBaets of South Bend, and Doris (Urban) Hinders of Kettering, Ohio; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Kuboske of South Bend, and Mary Chadwick of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Mrs. Kuboske was a charter member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of South Bend.
