Marjorie M. Davidson, 99, of Freemansburg, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014 in the home of her granddaughter in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Thomas R. Davidson, who died in 1995. Born in West Nanticoke, Pa., she was the third of five children of the late Louis E. and Ethel M. (Cease) Nelson. Marjorie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Williams Township. She was a former member of the P.T.A and a member of the School Board in Freemansburg. Marjorie was a member of the Women’s Guild at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Freemansburg, where she was a teacher of the Weekday Church School, Bible School and a choir member. Survivors: three daughters, Jane R. Michael of Fountain Hill, Joy D. Jacoby and her husband, Paul of Freemansburg, Marjorie E. Buchman of Allentown; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
