Marjorie Hilmer,74, of Green Forest, AR entered into rest on July 12, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born on August 20, 1936 in St. Paul, NE to the late Rudolph Rubesh and Anna (Jacobs) Rubesh. On August 8, 1954 she was united in marriage with Arnold Hilmer the love of her life. They lived in Nebraska and later in California. In 1975 they moved to Green Forest and settled on a farm outside of town. Marjorie was employed at Wal-Mart in Berryville for over 20 years. She became manager over the food stocking department before her retirement. Her hobbies were cooking and woodworking. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her husband, Arnold Hilmer, daughters, Cindy Schaecher and husband Terry of Berryville, Coleen Powell of Green Forest, Cheryl Townsand and husband Mike of Butler, MO, sons, Ron Hilmer and wife Vanda of California, Randy Hilmer and wife Kris of Van Buren, sisters, Leola Thomsen, Devona Puncochar, Sharon Janssen, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers.
