Marjianne Lenz Lowry, 81, of Spirit Lake passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Accura Healthcare of Spirit Lake.
Marge was born on November 29, 1936, in Lake Park, IA to Herb and Lela Marjorie (Elliot) Lenz. She attended Lake Park Community Schools. She was united in marriage to Teddy Lowry Jr. on August 28, 1954, in the Lake Park United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2017, in Spirit Lake.
Marge worked for many years out of her home doing work for Berkley. She later worked for McQuays/Crystal Tips and Brown Medical until her retirement. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing basketball in high school, going on motorcycle rides with Ted, and most of all enjoying her time spent with her grandchildren and family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, son Ted (Jeanie) Lowry of Garderville, NV; son Terry (Lea) Lowry of Converse, TX; son Rick (Terry) Lowry of Spirit Lake; daughter Janie (Paul) Molendorp of Spirit Lake; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law Ted and Viva Lowry Sr., husband Ted Jr., brother Leroy Lenz, sister Sally Lawrence, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
