Dublin- Marion W. Lawrence, 95, passed away on Monday February 7, 2011 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana as a result of a fall at his home. A son of the late Hardy and Eva (Cruse) Lawrence, Marion was born in New Lisbon, Indiana on July 8, 1915. Marion grew up and lived his entire life in the Dublin community, of which he was very proud. He graduated from high school here and witnessed many changes in the community while riding his bicycle around town as a child and adult. Marion owned several properties in town and enjoyed maintaining them in his younger years. He also enjoyed gardening and reading. Marion served his country in the United States Army during World War II as a Supply Sergeant in the European Theatre.
