Marion P. “Rocky” Laughman, 62, of Elkhart, passed away following an extended illness at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born in Elkhart on Oct. 26, 1952, to the late Virgil and Carol (Shelt) Laughman.
Surviving are his sisters, Linda Francesconi of Goshen, Sharon Markle of Novi, Mich., and Margaret (Dirk) Spice of Cassopolis, Mich.; and brother Larry (Kathy) Laughman of Edwardsburg, Mich.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Rocky loved to fish, bowl and spend time having a cup of coffee at Callahan’s with his friends. He will be best remembered for his devotion to his beloved sidekick, “Lilly” the Yorkie, who also preceded him.
