Marion Lee Hobbs, 65, Daleville, died July 4, 2002 at his residence after extended illness. He was born October 9, 1936 in Linton, Indiana, and resided in Daleville. He lived in the Anderson/Daleville area all of his life He retired in 1996 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors, after 42yrs. Service He served his country in the United States Army He was a member of the Columbus Ave. Church of Christ. UAW Local #662, loved to fish and was an avid CB radio handler known as Aley-oop.
He also loved to ride Motorcycles He is survived by his wife: whom he married on June 17, 1958 Lillie Taylor Hobbs, of Daleville. three Children: Wendy Herndon of Clevland, Alabama, Mary Ellen husb Tim Crum of Anderson, and Marion Lee wife Tonia Hobbs Jr. of Hartford City. A Brother: Don wife Patty Hobbs of Plymouth, Indiana. Ten Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Leverett and Ellen Padgett Hobbs.
